It is with sadness that I inform the football family in the Northern Territory of the passing of John Keirs wife Val on Thursday night 29th September at Royal Darwin Hospital.  Val had been battling cancer for some time now and finally succumbed on Thursday.

John has been a member of the football family in the Territory for well over forty years and is still active as a current Board Member.

I am sure you will join the Board and staff of the FFNT in sending our deepest sympathies and heartfelt good wishes to John and his family.

John has asked to pass on to everyone his thanks for the understanding and well wishes he has received during this very difficult time for his family.
