About Us |
Our Vision The World Game will unite us all.
Our Mission The Football Federation Northern Territory is a non-profit organisation recognised as the peak body to promote, organise and develop the world game of football within the Northern Territory.
The Federation - what do we do? The Federation is responsible for the overall management and promotion of football here in the Northern Territory. This includes overall corporate management, providing assistance & advice to Zone Councils, Standing Committees & Clubs as well as providing Territory-wide programs for the development of players, coaches and referees. The Federation does not run football competitions - however we do provide advice and support to Zone Councils who are responsible for running the actual competitions.
The Zones - what do they do? Under the recommendations of the Crawford Report three Zones were established within the Northern Territory. They are responsible for the conduct of football competitions within their geographical areas as well as providing development programs for players, coaches and referees that underpin those programs run by the Federation (i.e. the Zone programs feed players up into the Territory-wide players programs).
