The football competition here in Darwin is a traditional 'winter' season although here in the Top End it is referred to as the 'dry' season. |
| Small Sided Games |
The original concept of 'Rooball' has now been expanded and as from 2008 a new structure of Small Sided Games will be implemented across Australia. Since 2005 the Northern Territory has been at the forefront of testing the new structure and our feedback has been taken into account when Football Federation Australia restructured the development games for our younger players from 6 to 12 years of age. Clubs, players, coaches and parents should make themselved aware of the slight changes from 2008. |
