Palmerston and Rural Districts Junior Soccer Club was founded in 1984 we have seen a number of changers since our clubs humble beginning. The club was first incorporation in 1991.
1999 Palmerston and Rural Districts Junior Soccer Club merged with Sanderson La-Faek Soccer Club and became Palmerston La-Faek Districts Soccer Club.
2009 the Management Committee has made the change from soccer to FOOTBALL and a new Logo and a name change. The club is now simply called Palmerston F.C and is the only football club in Palmerston, not to be confused with the Palmerston Magpies "Football" AFL team.
