A double to Shai Turner helped Olympic to a 2-0 win over Litchfield in Round 10 of the women's premier league.

Olympic's play was on point in the first half, despite the efforts of Litchfield who fought had to get back into the game. The second 45 had a different feel, as Litchfield found their groove and took it to the Red and Whites.

The match provided plenty of entertainment, with shots galore from both sides to go with some terrific goalkeeping from Olympic's Irene Petrakis and Litchfield's Carli-Anne Tielen.

Olympic went awfully close to snagging a goal back with 10 minutes remaining when Brooke Phelan hit a sweet strike from the right hand side. The ball looked as though it was going to curve into the top right corner, but didn’t move enough and hit the corner of the cross bar.
