Going into the half-time break 3-0 up, the Aces were in cruise control thanks to goals to Kiera Mcwilliam in the fourth minute, Claire Mathews in the 14th and Tiina Stoll in the 40th.
They held that advantage until the 66th minute when Kelly Forgarty netted for Litchfield and only three minutes later she had her second.
In what turned out to be a thrilling contest, both sides gave their all in the final stages in a physical and tough encounter.
Litchfield kept pushing, but Litchfield wouldn't relinquish their advantage and they held on to win through guts and determination.
The contest was as ferocious as they come, according to Mcwilliam.
"It was so intense. We thought we had it in the first half but then in the second half they came back and it was so close, but it was such a good game. We didn't know if they were going to score again," Mcwilliam said.
Meanwhile, Fogarty echoed how ferocious the match proved to be.
"It was insane. It was really, really tough. They are really good Mindil It felt like we had each other and it was good, even competition, maybe not so much in the first half we were not playing at our best, but we definitely made it up in the second half," Fogarty said.
