Super 7’s : All you need to know

Super 7’s is the 14-week competition starting from mid-October designed to provide the opportunity to play football all year round. We know how passionate you are about our sport and we want to celebrate your passion by arranging football all year round. In Super 7’s we’ve got football for all.

Season Information:

The season is going to be 14 weeks long with 2 parts: pre-Christmas and post-Christmas. Pre-Christmas season will go from mid-October to mid-December comprising of 7 weeks and post-Christmas season will go from mid-January to end-February with another block of 7 weeks.
A half season registration is available if you only wish to play for 7 weeks, but you must choose which 7-week block you play in, pre-Christmas or post-Christmas.

Playing Kit:

Teams are required to wear matching playing kits. Players may wear their existing club kit if they wish to do so. If there is clash in playing kit, the away team will be provided with bibs by Competition Administrator.

What do players get?

Players who are registered for Super 7’s get following:
  • Stadium venue pitches under lights
  • Player insurance
  • All equipment provided
  • Match officials (referees)

Week 1: Week of 21th October
Week 2: Week of 28th October
Week 3: Week of 4th November
Week 4: Week of 11th November
Week 5: Week of 18th November
Week 6: Week of 25th November
Week 7: Week of 2nd December

Christmas and New Year Break

Week 8: Week of 13th January
Week 9: Week of 20st January
Week 10: Week of 27th January
Week 11: Week of 3rd February
Week 12: Week of 10th February
Week 13: Week of 17th February
Week 14: Week of 24th February

Super 7’s

For those who are competitive and do not want to hang up their boots. Super7’s is a social 7-a-side competition and is divided into following categories:
All the rules and competition specific information  will be uploaded here and where possible, referees will be provided.
Team registration for Super 7’s:
All players must register to participate in the Super 7’s as this is a different competition than the dry season.
Players need to register to the club “FFNT Socials” in the correct package via Play Football, click here for the link (self registration guideline can be found here) and submit one team nomination form per team. The team nomination form (download here) must be submitted by team manager before COB 14 October 2019 to admin@footballnt.com.au.

Registration fees for Super 7’s (per person):

  1. Full Season
  • Under 14s and 16s : $130
  • Men’s : $165
  • Women’s : $130
  1. Half Season
  • Under 14s and Under 16s : $80
  • Men’s : $110
  • Women’s : $80
Please note $100 Sports Voucher are accepted for juniors where applicable.  Please see Over 35 page for more information about Over 35s.

Please note: All players must be eligible as at the 1st of August to play in a junior competition, for example a player who is 13 as of the 1st of August, may play 14’s and Under, but aplayer who is 14 as of the 1st of August cannot.

Wet Weather Policy:

Games will only be cancelled due to severe weather (lightning or cyclone) and will be at the discretion of the competition administrator or referee. Games will be played in the rain. No refunds will be given for games cancelled due to weather.
